Use this to write a formal appeal (klage). An appeal must state your case/reference number and explain why you believe the decision is wrong — new documents help. Deadlines are short (for UDI, usually 3 weeks) and are written in your decision letter.

Submit the appeal to the authority through their official channel (for UDI, log in and upload, or send by post). There is no fee to appeal a UDI decision. Check the deadline in your decision letter.
